Healthy You Program starts soon

Is your New Year's resolution to get healthy? The Kendall Anderson Nutrition Center presents 'Healthy You,' its successful weight management program. This research-based lifestyle program has been found to lower body weight and reduce inches and body fat while increasing mindful eating, self-esteem, and nutrient intake.

Wednesdays, January 18-March 28

Are you ready to take action and get healthy?  The Kendall Anderson Nutrition Center is once again offering its Healthy You program, which is the result of the Nutrition Center’s registered dietitians having worked with a variety of audiences and ages to improve methods for losing weight and keeping it off.

Many Healthy You participants don’t have weight loss as a primary goal – they join to improve their health, learn to enjoy eating again, de-stress meal preparation, or better manage their chronic illness, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes. There is definitely something for everyone!

This 10-week program teaches you how to get and stay motivated, eat right, move more, and make realistic behavior changes for the long term.

  • Instructions and resources for nutrition analysis of your diet before and after program
  • Personalized meals plans and recommendations
  • Recipes and cooking class
  • Hands-on activities
  • Pedometer and exercise guidelines

Optional individual consultations and body fat measurement available at no charge.

Additional Information

Classes  - Every Wednesday January 18-March 28, no class March 14 (spring break)

Choice of two times - Noon-1 p.m. or 6-7 p.m.

Location - Kendall Anderson Nutrition Center, 114 Gifford Building, 502 W. Lake St. 

Cost - $175 (sign up with a partner and you each save $50). CSU employees pay only half: $87.50!

Limited scholarships available but cannot be combined with CSU discount. Please call for information.
