Fall break Nov. 23 - Dec. 1

November 15, 2013

Fall break signals a lull in the flurry of activity here at Colorado State. If you're not traveling over the holiday, you'll likely find enjoyment in the tranquil scenes that can be found on campus or in joining in pre-holiday festivities going on in the city.

For those of us who aren't leaving Fort Collins for fall break, here are a few diversions:

  • Winter Farmers' Market, Saturday, Nov. 23, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Opera Galleria, 123 North College (live music, activities and good cheer)
  • Santa arrives by horse-drawn carriage,  Saturday, Nov. 23, Noon-1 p.m., Old Town Square
  • Friday Night Lights with CSU Marching Band, Friday, Nov. 29, 6:45-7:15 p.m., leaves from Ram Zone, 172 N. College Ave.
  • Holiday special, Little Women, begins Friday, Nov. 29, 7:30 p.m., University Center for the Arts
  • Horse drawn carriage rides begin Sunday, Dec. 1
