'Creating an Inclusive Work Climate' Sept. 24

The Division of Student Affairs' Fundamental Fridays series is hosting a workshop on "Creating an Inclusive Work Climate," at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24 in the Lory Student Center, Room 203. Division of Student Affairs Fundamental Fridays professional and personal development opportunities are open to all faculty and staff.

Practical steps for creating an inclusive work environment

CSU values diversity in its students, faculty, and staff members. What steps can we take to create a more inclusive work environment for all employees?

Interactive session

In this interactive session, discover ways to:

  • Address conflicts or miscommunications that may come up based on different world views or social identities
  • Learn how your work environment can take everybody’s work style into account
  • Consider systemic oppression and structural barriers to making the work environment inclusive for everyone
