There's a reason the National Western Stock Show attracts up to 700,000 visitors each year. With events like the "Wild West Show,' 'Backstage with a Rodeo Clown,' Mutton Bustin,' and the 'One-Arm-Bandit,' there's virtually something for everyone. Discounted tickets are available for those who attend CSU Day on January 19.
Denver's National Western Stock Show is the stage for the world's premier stock show, rodeo, and horse show.
But it's more than that — the Stock Show is a showcase for America's richly diverse western heritage. A sampling of events on CSU Day at the Stock Show includes:
CSU Day at the National Western Stock Show also includes CSU Ag Adventure, an interactive, educational, and fun display that answers questions like: "What agricultural commodities are grown and raised in Colorado?" and "Where does your food come from?"
The display includes a tour of Colorado's agriculture, showcasing crop production, animal husbandry, livestock production, and land stewardship from "farm to plate."
In its 107th year, the National Western Stock Show includes all you'd expect and more — exhibits, a trade show, and ticketed events in the stadium arena, Denver Coliseum, and the National Western Event Center.
Exhibits at the Stock Show include more than 15,000 head of horses, cattle, sheep, swine, goats, llamas, alpacas, bison, yak, poultry, and rabbits. The trade show covers nearly 100 acres of show grounds with a variety of food and shopping offerings. There are ticketed events to close to 50 performances.
Schedule your visit to the Stock Show for Sunday, January 19 so that you can enjoy discounted rodeo tickets (rodeo tickets include the price of admission to the Stock Show), free CSU giveaways, and pictures with CAM the Ram mascots.
